How TrustedPlayAlliance earns
TrustedPlayAlliance may receive compensation when a player registers or plays through a TrustedPlayAlliance affiliate link. This compensation may take the form of revenue share, cost-per-acquisition (CPA), or hybrid arrangements with operators. These relationships are what fund our reviews, dispute team, and player-protection services.
How this affects our ratings
It doesn't. Sponsored placement never automatically increases an operator's safety score or review rating. Sponsored and featured operators are clearly labeled as "Sponsored — TrustedPlayAlliance Partner," "Featured," or "Editorial Choice." Ratings are calculated using our public, weighted methodology and our full audit trail.
Our independence
TrustedPlayAlliance blacklists and downgrades operators regardless of affiliate relationships. If an operator accumulates sustained unresolved complaints, unverifiable licenses, or predatory behavior, we will warn players and remove affiliate listings — even when it costs us revenue. Player trust is the product.
